How to upload MT942 bank statement file in SAP

I've used FF.5 to upload MT940 bank statement files, but now there is requirement to upload MT942 files, which would be used for interim (during the day) cash position purposes. Is there speical transaction for that, and what settings need to be done? I tried to upload MT942 sample file from the bank using FF.5 (there there is no option for MT942 so I chose MT940 structure recognized automatically) and got an error "Record type 34 only applies for preselection items (MT942)".

Hi,

the option for recognizing MT942 files is "Account balance" in "Cash management" frame. The technical name of this parameter is "INTRADAY".

With this option, the application is 0004 (account balance) and not 0001 (Electronic and manual bank statement).
