excise duty calcualation in GR

in MIGO display material document.

at item detail level: excise duty tab percentage in ad valorem BED is coming as 12 percent but the amount system has calcuated as 12.9 %.

is it possible that if user manually enters the excise amount even if the condition record is there for JMOP as 12 % system will accept the manually entered amount

Hi Rahul,

Yes, it is possible in standard system to manually change the excise duty amounts which are defaulted from condition records.

The excise duty amount fields at item level are kept editable by SAP, because there might be variances in the PO excise duty amounts and the actual received vendor excise invoice amounts. So that, it should be possible for the user to manually change the amounts as per the received invoice without amending the PO.

thats true but the question is if you edit the amount in BED field then does sytem still stores the original rate in advaleorm tab or not.
