Hi

I have 1 dropdown & 2 fields . 1 is Alphanumeric & 1 is numeric . I want if value in Dropdown is "Y" , then alphanumeric & numeric field should not be blank . In numeric field value should be > 0 but less than 50 . Is it possible through Stored procedure Notification.

Thanks

    Hi,

You may not need SP but FMS should be enough to do the trick.

    Thanks,

    Gordon

    • Try With this SP Tn, change the UDF according to your database.

      Declare @e nvarchar (200)

      Declare @d nvarchar (200)

      Declare @f int

      If @object_type='171' and @transaction_type in ('U','A')

      BEGIN

      select @e= t1.U_udf1 , @d= t1.U_udf2, @f=t1.U_udf3 from ohem t1

      where t1.empID= @list_of_cols_val_tab_del

      IF (@e='Y' )

      begin

if @d is null or @f>=50

      begin

      Select @error = -1,

      @error_message = @f

      end

      end

      End

      Regards

    Hi Sunny...........

If the value would come as per the logic which is >0 and <50 then its possible by FMS and if you want it to be restricted if nothing in this Numeric field or beyond what you have built the logic then its possible through SP Transnotification............

    Regards,

    Rahul
