Hi Mandy,

You can create conditions for discounts in VK11. Enter the condition type that you are using for discounts in the pricing procedure, then you can create condition records based on quantity, weight etc. at diff levels.

Best,

Vikram

Hi Mandy,

VK11 is a T code to maintain condition records in the condition types. when you create a sales order sales price is determined using a calculation schema. Calculation schema comprises of condition types. Condition records are maintained for condition types.

There are several calculation schemas in the system, You can view them using V/08 t code.  Among those the specific calculation schema is determined based on customer+ Document type + sales org data combination.

You arrive at the final sales price based on the condition records you maintain in the condition types.

but the net price  in MM42 , what is it used for please?

What you see in the MM42 screen is the Sales price calculation for that article for a particular distribution chain ( Sales org+ Dictribution channel). Once you configure the Calculation schema, the final sales price is calculated automatically based on the condition records you have maintained in each condition type.

Hello Vikram:

what is condition type for final price on MM42. is it PR00?

Hi Mandy,

If you go to MM42 and click on Sales price calculation from the Sales view,it will take you to the Display Price Calculation.

IF you click on Sales tab on top, it will show you the condition type as EKNN - which is the net/net PP IS-R...Now if you dont see the current final price on your MM42,which means it is not yet maintained..The final price is stored in field ENDPR.

To cross check you go to Vk11 and maintain the pricing condition VKP0 for that article/sales org/Dist.channel combination...then you come back to MM42 wherein you will see the current Final Price it should have got updated(based on what amount you have entered in Vk11)

ALternatively you can use transaction VKP5 transaction to create a pricing document for a combination of article/sales org/Dist.ch/pricelist etc.The best advantage is you can create future prices and activate later on and you may also want to reverse prices in some cases, which you can do it in VKP5/VKP6 transactions accordingly.

Now if you click on Sales Price Calculation the amount would have got changed and the condition type is VkP0 in this case and the Current Final price is stored in field ENDPA

You may also go to Transaction VKP8 to see the price history of an article.

Hope it helps

BR,

Aram.
