Decrease in Total points on the SDN home page

Hi,

Has anybody noticed that the points total that appears on the top of the page, besides your name, decreases when you are awarded points for answering a query?

I have been noticing this since the day i started using the new SDN. This is causing issues as the points i require to become a Gold Contributor keep on increasing as and when i score. If this had not been the case i would have become a Gold Contributor by now.

Can someone please look into this and rectify this? I guess the moderators should be able to help here.

If this is normal could somebody please explain how this works?

Thanks & Best Regards,

Gokul

    Hi Gokul,

I just noticed it again 😊 . I had seen it happening earlier but ignored it. It seems to be known bug and SCN team is working on it. Check this thread:

😠 This time lost 19 points in one go for no apparent reason. Please note that this time i havent scored anything. Usually the points get reduced when you get rewarded. Atleast, this is what i have observed.

I humbly urge the moderators to do something about this and help us in getting all our lost points restored as early as possible.
