Hello All,

I have configured system monitoring in technical monitoring using custom metrics and alerts. This setup is done to monitor the Unix daemon processes. The idea is to monitor the ICMAN and SENDMAIL unix process in System Monitoring dashboard. Data collection is used is Push Introscope Collector type and Generic Host Agent Data. The issue is the data is not populating in the system monitoring dashoard. What are the steps to troubleshoot such issues?

Hi Vivek,

could you please let me know, have you defined and activated the metrics for these processes?

if no, please define and activate , you can check it in Alert directory browser.

and also go to configuration in the technical monitoring dashboard, check the CCDB status is green, if red than check out any extractor is releavant failed.

Hi Jansi,

Thanks for the hints. After lot of debugging found out that Introscope Host Adapter had some issues. Due to this OS metrics were not pushed to MEA from Introscope. Got this fixed.
