Hello,
I would like to add new regions via transaction OVK2 but only for client 300. Is that possible or do I have to first create new regions on DEV and then transfer it to QAS (300)? Is it ok if I transport new entries from DEV to PRD, use these entries for testing and then delete them from DEV/QAS after one hour?
Many thanks in advance for prompt replies and best regards!
Sam
It is a standard practice that if any configuration moved to quality and due to some reason, if that should not be moved to production, then you need to open the quality client and restore the settings in line with production client. Similarly in development client also, delete the request and maintain the original settings.
By the way, why you want to do configuration directly in quality client ?? Whatever test you would like to do, do it in development client itself.

Hello Lakshmipathi,
Thank you very much for prompt reply!

I understand, just to confirm once more:
First I will transfer new region entrie from DEV to QAS and after one our of testing on client 300 I will delete new entries both in DEV and QAS?
By the way, why you want to do configuration directly in quality client ?? Whatever test you would like to do, do it in development client itself.
Because these new regions that I will create will be used by one end-user which will make some tests on client 300. After we do the testing I will delete entries from the DEV adn QAS, that's the idea.. That's why I cant make test on DEV because end user has access only to QAS and PRD.
Thanks in advance fro quick reply!
Sam
