Certificate Error in Portal after SSL Configured

Hello Everyone.

I am facing an issue on portal after i configured SSL on our landscape.

We have Portal and SRM in our landscape and we configured SSL few days back. No web dispatcher is configured in portal. We did all the steps as mentioned for SSL Configuration and successfully able to execute it in development.

However when we tried the same thing in Prod, we face an issue will accessing a SRM application from portal. It displays the certificate error and pops an information bar on IE to 'Display Blocked Content'. This is related to certificate issue which we never ever had previously.

We are using third party root trusted certificates and are added as well. We do not want the information bar to pop up to end users. Please help on how to recover this or any helpful suggestions.

Ensure root certificates have been imported (might have to be explicitly imported for the browser - try and check).

Check IE policies, and alter to allow prod. Changes might have to be done in IE's local intranet or trusted site.

Hi Vinstarworld,

it is usualy a browser issue (IE7?),

please first go to Tools > Internet Options > Content > Clear SSL State.

then change the mixed content display like in this screenshot:

hope this will fix it,

if it didn't make sure you implemented SSO in the portal.

Best regards,

Saar
