Analyzer: Input-ready date field

Hi folks,

We've an input-ready date field in a BEx Analyzer workbook. The field is a key figure in the corresponding query and the cube defines it as date (type dec 9).

If we enter a date (format DD.MM.YYYY) like '01.10.2012' the system will make a '40.452,00' out of it, when leaving the field. After saving the data in the workbook the date will be displayed as '03.10.0111', which should be 40.452 days after 01.01.0001.

Anyone here, who has already faced this problem?

Hi Michael,

Thanks for your note! I set a breakpoint at the source, that should be corrected by the mentioned note, but the system didn't halt. So it will not be helpful for us.

Certainly I could precisely encircle the reason for this problem. After changing the default number format of embedded excel style sheet 'SAPBEXstdData' the problem occurs. This step is reversible. I contacted SAP AGS with this description and they are currently working on it.
