I want to automate the creation of audit in PLMD_AUDIT, once the quality notification is released, Is there is any way to link notification and audit, please advice..

Please try the Badi PLM_AUDIT_ACT_LINK, method CREATE_OBJECT. and business object BUS2078 ('quality notification').

Thanks for your reply.

I think the badi you mentioned is used to trigger notification from audit, but my requirement is to trigger audit from notification.

But I'm not sure, please correct me, if can I meet the requirement with the same badi.

I am not sure about it but you can explore the option given under the BADi like CREATE_OBJECT_AT_RELEASE else you can use the workflow for same.

As per the business process Audit is done to know how the process is going on and it is as per the SOP or not. And if it is not as per the SOP then NC(major, minor ) given by Auditor.

So if while doing Audit, and NC is generated then we can create Notification for that concering the dept. users. So Notification is generated from Audit.

Audit is not done when defect are produced or notificatonis generated. It is standard Business Process.
