API OpenDimensionAndMemberSelector

HI Experts,

I need a solution to an issue In earlier version BPC 7.5 there was a macro to select the members mnu_etools_memberselector which can be used like a filter. Please let me know what is the corresponding EPM function. I understand the API OpenDimensionAndMemberSelector , but not sure how to use this.can somebody help please

    Hi Raj,

    The usual syntax is:

    Application.Run "EPMExecuteAPI", "APIName", "DisplayedText", Arg1, Arg2 …

    This API has only one parameter. You need to specify the connection name.

    Below are the examples (taken from help guide)

    "_EPM_[SolutionName]_[%server%:%port%]_[%environment%]_[%model%]"

    "_EPM_[SolutionName] _[%server%:%port%]_[%environment%]_[%model%]"

    "_EPM_LOCAL_[%oqy file name%]"

    "[connection name]", as it appears in the Connection Manager dialog box
