Committed and material staging are different

Hi friends,

Committed(08/20/2012) and material staging dates (08/29/2012) are different in the STO. I have checked the material availability in the supplying plant . The stock is available on 08/20/2012. but confirmation date is showing 08/29/2012.

But actually the customer requirement date 08/10/2012. when MRP runs in the supplying plant the  production order is Reschedule in to 08/10/2012 depending on the customer requirement.However , we could see that the  confirmation date is not changed to 08/20/2012 after running V_V2 job.

i have checked for the Pick/pack time-wk hrs  in the configuration, but its not maintained.

Please let me know what could be the root cause for this issue..

Hello,

Material stagging date is the date by which sufficient quantities of the item must be available for picking to begin.It need not be same all the time.

In the customizing of shipping point you can enter days/hours needed for picking and packing.
