Hi Guys,

              I have a requirement to convert WebDynpro view to pdf and send as a mail using programming.

is at all possible..?

other way around is I have to design a Smartform and convert it to pdf file, which is time consuming and complex..!

Hi Sam,

easy ways are to install a PDF-printer driver (like PDFCreator) and print your page to a file

or to save your page using a browser add-on. (like "Save as PDF" for Firefox.)

But to send it as an attachment has to be done manually.

You could also create a form with ADOBE LiveCycleDesigner (Transaction SFP), interface it to your components context and implement a function to download it to your local computer. But this is surely much more to do than to install an add-on or a PDF-printer driver.
