Hi Ali,

1) If you are using EhP6 then see that you are selecting the proper role SAP_MDGM_MENU in NWBC       cockpit.

2) Check whether you have selected Data Model MM in personalisation parameter R_FMDM_MODEL.

HI Ali, seems that you still use the EHp5 Web Dynpro Application, this may happen due to  the old role SAP_MDGM, like VKanc 9 stated before SAP_MDGM_MENU or a copy of these. You check this with SU01 and then proceed (either double click or Tcode PFCG) to the role and have look at the menu entries. There you can see the WDA under Node Details of the Menu entry: creat material.

The message itself was created to prevent the parallel usage of EhP5 and EhP6 UIs because the technology has been change incompatibly between these EhPs. So make sure that you use the new roles.

Kind regards,

Thanks VKanc 9 and Uli,

Somehow while I was reading EHP6 MDG-M material on Help.sap.com, I found that I need to assign SAP_MDGM role. May be I did not understood that correctly. Thanks I changed my assignment to SAP_MDGM_MENU and now it works.

Regards,

Ahmed
