Limit item RFX

Hi All,             

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                       We We are trying to congigure RFX for Limit items using SRM 7.1. Other scenarios like 1. Normal RFX. 2 Two Envelope Bidding 3. RFX template in Tender Management has been configured and working fine.

The configurations we have made are 

1. RFX ---> Activate /Deactivate Limits in Bidding documents. Activated this Customizing switch

2. Cross Apllication basic settings ---->Define Transcation types.

3. In  Transaction type for field " Display limit as "selected "2 Available to be Bid on" .                                                                                                                               

When we create the RFX using a Shopping Cart with Limit Item an error appears "Line 0001: Item type 'Limit' not allowed for this Item"

Kindly provide your inputs on this issue.

Hi Malay,

The link talks about Bid decoupling scenario and changing the Bid system as " External".

I have changed the Bid system and tried. Same error is coming.

We have not heard about Bid decoupling scenario and can you throw some light on it ?

In bid decoupling scenario/bid, response outside firewall, RFx is created in SRM and transferred to SUS thriough PI. Vendor bids in SUS and response is transferred to SRM via PI again. The feature is available in SRM 7.1 onwards visions.

For configuration of the scenario please go through config document in service market place.
