MD61/MD62 - REQ_DATE in BAPI

Hi,

I'm planning using below BAPI to create/update/get the existing data in MD61/MD62. In the upload file, user provide data for Req Date in format - 8.2012.

My doubt would be based on this format, how should i know what are the exact date i require to pass in below BAPI in field REQ_DATE? Appeciate anyone can advise me accordingly. Thanks.

Any table we can search for Period indicator values instead using BAPI -

BAPI_REQUIREMENTS_GETDETAIL to retrieve the data?
