SAP IPAD Launcher using webgui HTML

We have an issue with the majul sap ipad launcher. Its work perfectly fine as regards to SAP access etc....however we are having an issue with the cached sessions. Because the sessions are cached, when the password on the backend(ABAP) changes, the cached sessions on IPAD launcher are locking the user in the backend. Majul(vendor) have requested we bypass the cache by using the little blue circle and then by selecting 'Launch URL'. However when our end user is doing this, the next screen has the username and password box blank with the text 'via popup' inside of it. Then when they press the Log on button nothing happens. This is the problem. It does not allow them to enter a username and password manually apart from in the setup page."

Wondering if you can throw any ideas here. I realise at this moment that configuring SSO is an option to fix this but this would be our clients last resort and we want to explore all other options first.

Also I have also tested the SAP WEBGUI application from web client (IE), which processes the user credential via popup. It cached the logon credential which only got deleted when I completely closed all the browser windows. Once deleted, the WEBGUI prompted me to enter the credential and this is working as it should. My understanding is if SAP WEBGUI works fine for IE web client, it should work for Mobile app too. But in there the mobile app from Majul uses safari browser as opposed to my testing on IE browser.

I cant replicate the scenario myself due to Network security restrictions on VPN. I am wondering if you guys can help pitch in here with any ideas or pointers.

Much appreciated.

regards
