Dear Experts,
We are on SRM 7.01. Under the POWL for Shopping Cart, i wish to hide the column 'Component Type' for all users. I have already had a look under SAP SRM ->Cross application Basic Settings ->POWL and Advanced Search->Adjust POWLLayout , Search Criteria, and Push Button. However I could not find the 'Component Type' button there.
How can this be achieved?
Thanks
I know that we can hide this column by using the 'settings' button, but we want to achieve this for all users as a default.
Thanks

Hi John,
Go to SPRO,
Cross-Application Basic Settings->POWL and Advanced Search->Adjust POWL Layout, Search Criteria, and Pushbuttons
Select your relevant feeder class and click on field catalog. You can delete whichever column you dont need from here.

Naveen

Hi Naveen,
I have already stated in my query that I have had a look under SAP SRM ->Cross application Basic Settings ->POWL and Advanced Search->Adjust POWLLayout , Search Criteria, and Push Button. I did open the feeder class but could not find the 'Component Type' button there.
Hi Robin,
Thanks. The note you suggested is for SRM 7.0. We are on SRM 7.01.
Hi Ritesh,
I followed your steps, and had a query. When I save the resultant view, can I transport these changes to another client? Or should I save it as a local object?

Hi John,
these are manual settings, just check those manual settings if they are applicable also to SRM 7.01 (and they are, because in our system those manual settings haven't been done either and the field is shown here as well).
The include for that field isn't added to the switch mentioned in the note in SRM 7.01 SP 7.
Regards,
Robin
Hello John,
You can easily do that by defining a variant for every user by hiding column. Here are the steps;
Hope this helps.
Thank you
Ritesh
