A/ R credit memo error

Hello,

While adding a r credit memo , I am getting the error "GL account is missing"

but i am unable to identify where the GL account is missing?

can anyone tell me how to find it ???

Hi,

Check whether you mapped the

1. Sales Credit Account on your  G/L account determination sales tab

2. If you are using warehouse accounting means check the Sales Credit Account in selected warehouse in ar credit memo or

If you are using Item group accounting means check the  Sales Credit Account in Item group for the selected items in ar credit memo.

Hi Punam Gandi,

Have to determined the Sales Return Account.

Administration -- Setup -- Financials -- G/L Account determination

Sales -- General Tab -- check .

or

Check what you defined for item in Item master - Set  GL Account By

based upon the selection it works.

From the following available options, choose the default G/L method for this item:

• Whse – all G/L accounts that you have defined at the warehouses level
• ItemGroup – all G/L accounts that you have defined at the item group level
• ItemLevel – any G/L accounts that you have defined at the item level

Hi Punam,

     Check the 'Set G/L Accounts By' of item (item master)  which is using in your credit memo. Based on this set G/L accounts in corresponding locations.

try to see if the column with G/L Accounts is visible from FOrm Settings

in case it is visible you can see in which row this data is missing and try to fill i t up
