Error message : "The extract structure is not permitted " in CTBW

Hi Experts ,

I am creating variant configuration datasource with the following details in CTBW :

Basis DS : 2lis_11_Vaitm , Class  type: 300 ,Table: VBPS , Data :TRAN

I added the required characteristics of typ CHAr and KYF and while generatign the datasource I am getting the below error :

"The extract structure is not permitted "

Can someone help me with some valuabe suggestions or share your experiences if you have come across the similar error...

Hi Sekhar,

Are you trying to add multivalue characteristics in the data source? If yes, this is not permitted in CTBW data sources. Check notes 350296, 535370

If the answer is no, try to change the extract structure in SE11. If you get the same error again, try to generate the DS again by giving the same entries in CTBW. This is due to inconsistent state and arises sometimes.
