SAP HANA 2.0 - db Explorer is empty

Hi,

everything seems to be fine, but our hdi Container is still empty.

We could build everything, but the Container is empty. We did it on two different systems, but still the same.

I watched the academy video but couldn't find any help.

And I can see that the container are created, when I look at the XS Advanced Administration Tool.

I get this from Chrome Console

ConnectDialog.js:989 Could not get the list of HDI containers {"status":500,"statusText":"Internal Server Error","responseText":"{\"error\":{\"requestId\":\"ixgjebgc\",\"errorCode\":\"HANA_INVALID_TOKEN\",\"message\":{\"value\":\"Setting XS_APPLICATIONUSER failed due to invalid or expired token\",\"lang\":\"en-US\"}}}","responseJSON":{"error":{"requestId":"ixgjebgc","errorCode":"HANA_INVALID_TOKEN","message":{"value":"Setting XS_APPLICATIONUSER failed due to invalid or expired token","lang":"en-US"}}},"textStatus":"error","errorThrown":"Internal Server Error"}

Any ideas?

Maybe someone knows more about this issue. The new installation didn't help us, the problem is still there. A incident was opened but until now without any solution.

After a long journey is this issue fixed. If someone has this problem too, probably this week comes a patch which would solve it. (when this Note 0002373065 is released)

Hi Dirk, I think I have a similar issue here. Could you already solve this problem? I would appreciate an hint on this topic. I installed the latest updates for WebIDE and HRTT but still facing the empty DB Explorer. Thanks in advance!!!

Yes, this problem is solved. We had the same behavior on two different systems and both are fixed. We solved it manually, because we are in hurry, but a fix is in work and it should come today or next week. (as soon as this note 0002373065 is released).

Okay thanks for the information and your effort. I'll wait for the fix then. Let's hope this will solve the issue. Best greetings and a nice weekend!

Hi Dirk, unfortunately we are still facing this issue although we installed the latest updates provided in the ticket 0002373065. Can you give us an hint where to search for the problem or a short summary of what you did to solve this incident. We would appreciate your help. Thank you very much in advance!

Hi Martin,

at first you should try this script. This will show you, if you have the same problem. Maybe it is not the same...

https://github.com/strehle/xsuaa-scripts/blob/master/saml/xsuaa_settings.cfg

If this check fails than you could struggle with the same problem.

I'm not able to download the rescue package (our fix), so I could send you the note, which you could use for your further investigations. (otherwise I would write the owner of this link. he knows this issue....;)

This was our problem: SAP "Your problem is that the broken trust between XSA and HANA cannot be repaired from XSA. Problem is your uaa-security.war, ...."

Good Luck!

Hi Dirk,

thank you very much for the hint. Found that one already some weeks ago but no success in my case. In the meantime I've done a reinstallation. Hope this will solve the problem.

Thanks again!

I hope we found the reason. I suppose that there went something wrong with the installation. We took the Patch 0 instead Patch 1.

Yesterday, I saw on a new academy video, that there is a newer Patch 1 downloadable. After checking and comparing the versions I'm almost sure that this could be the reason.

old: We are on Build: SPS 00 Patch 0 ( Build 4.0.18 )

new: Build: SPS 00 Patch 1 ( Build 4.0.21 )

Furthermore we got new informations from the SAP "The fix should be included in HRTT 2.0.10 (HANA runtime tools)."

Now we will try to reinstall it and hope for no more problems.

Thanks for your help!

Hi Dirk,

my developer user has these collective roles - with these I have no issue to launch the Database Explorer, monitor the app etc:

XS_USER_PUBLIC

WEBIDE_DEVELOPER

XS_CONTROLLER_USER

COCKPIT_USER

DEVX_DEVELOPER

The WEBIDE_DEVELOPER is the only collective role that I made myself and I suppose it's just like your "WEBIDE_DEVELOPER_HANA2" Please cross check.

Hi Dirk,

I suspect this could be related to authorization. Which user and which roles are you having set for the user that performs above action? Can you post a list here?

Hi Gunter,

I would think the same, but I couldn't find any missing role.

I put the two roles for webide!i1 in the role collection ..._HANA2.

Would be very helpful, if you could find any missing step.

Thanks a lot!
