Partner function as a characteristic

Hi,

We would like to use a SPECIFC partner function (of sales order) as one of the characteristics to check against product allocations.

In standard field catelogue in product allocation, the char is not available.

is it possible to select specific partner function ?

Dear Rajesh,

Thanks for your reply. I am aware of process to enhance the field catelogue but my query specific to the field 'partner function'.

For the same field name, there are multiple partner function entries in the sales order. And we want to map one of them during allocation check.

Could you please throw light on this specific case ?

Hi RS,

The table field VBPA-PARVW (Sales Doc: Partner - Partner Function) gives you all the recorded partner functions for a Sales Order.

Please check the SAP Note https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/174969 especially the note corrections for code snippets for instance, the first correction includes 3 examples.

Implement your business logic similar to those examples to filter the partner functions and send the specific one to APO.
