how to update NetWeaver 7.3 from sp00/sp01 to sp05

    I want to update netweaver 7.3 from sp00/sp01 to sp05.

but I can't find any the doc file. I don't know how to update it.

please teach me or tell me where are the doc file.

You can get it from the link,

upgrade -> guide finder in the right panel and then choose the version to get the guide.

Hope this helps. ( latest is SP04 only )

I would suggest you update the system to the latest SP, latest SP for 7.3 is SP07....

You can get the upgrade from the path mentioned by Shibu..

   I already updated JVM , IGS and hostagent using JSPM.

   But I don't know how to update kernel(SAPEXEDB.sar).

   I need the doc file or the updating step to update it.

   So please help me...plz..plz..

   NetWeaver : 7.3

   OS : win server 2008 R2

   DB: MaxDB 7.8

Goto search by A-z Index in that K,

under that SAP kernel 32-bit/64 bit.......

Hi ,Silambharasan MurugesanSilambharasan Murugesan :

     I already downloaded sapexedb.sar and sapexe.sar .

    And

    1) I stop service and instance.

    2) I unpack them  to usr/sap/<SID>/sys/exe/uc/NTAMD64

    3) I start service and instance ,

    4) The sap mmc instance status is OK and color is green.

But I do not know these steps and the deployment are current ?

1) thank you.....

2) I want to update netweaver 7.3 from sp00/sp01 to sp07.

3) First I update the SAPEXEDB(kernel) , SAPJVM , igsexe and SAPHOSTAGENT.

4) Second if it's(step 3)  ok , I will update the latest support package 07.

So now..

5) I have updated the latest SAPJVM , igsexe and SAPHOSTAGENT using JSPM.

6) but I don't know how to update SAPEXEDB.sar.

  6-1) So I stop the service and instance .

  6-2) I unpack the latest SAPEXEDB.sar and SAPEXE.sar to the temporary folder.

  6-3) I copy them to C:/usr/app/<SID>/sys/exe/uc/NTAMD64 directory.

  6-4) I start the service and instance , then the instance is running and the color is green.

7) Are these steps(5 ~ 6-4) correct ?? If they are correct, I will update from sp00/sp01 to the sp07 ??

So I need the updating's doc .
