Number range for trans./event type in WE year 2012 does not exist Message noM7562

Hi all,

This is my first discussion as a member i am lil held up with GR creation. A message is displayed when i try to post a document the error is

Number range for trans./event type in WE year 2012 does not exist (Message noM7562)

After researching  through couple of blogs i found to one step i.e by posting a number range in /OBF4 for the document type WE with a number range as

50 year 2012 and number range 1 to 50 for the company code YES1. But even then its throwing the same error its been like 3 days i am unable to resolve the issue. I have attached a file along with the screen shots please check and assist the same.

Hi Dhananjay,

Can you try this.

GO to tcode SNRO and give the object name as "MATBELEG", check if the number range for 2012 is missing there and assign the number ranges for material document.

Hi Renu,

Did happen to check the number range exist, But for the material WE under the group doesn't consists the number range for the year 2012 i am not getting the option to insert the number range for the mat WE specifically for the year 2012. I have attached the screen shots please revert.

The error has been resolved many thanks, but soon after i try to post document another error arises

Posting only possible in periods 2006/12 and 2006/11 in company code YES1

Message no. M7053

I checked with MMPV and the results are

I also checked MMRV and the output is

I guess i need to make changes with the year, can you let me know as to how to change the year..

hello dhanajay,

      i think  OMSY is already set..you have only one option to solve the issue.

         goto MMPV

          for ex : from company code 1000

                      to company code     1000

                   provide your period as  01

                              fiscal year       2007             

                              execute

                              enter

                     from company code 1000

                     to company code     1000

                   provide your period as  02

                              fiscal year       2007             

                              execute

                              enter

                       repeat all these same steps varying your period and yr to current month(08) and year(2012).so that your problem may be solved.

hope this helps..even i got the same problem and resolved it by this way...

I did happen to check with the procedure u sent the result was...

Need more help....Hari, Renu many thanks for ur support need help on this .This is like ocean by the time i escape from a wave another hits by the same time.

your system current calender year is 2012.

but posting period's yr is of 2006.

so we need to upgrade it to the current year 2012 frm 2007 so that postings can be possible.

and to do this i have shown u how to do it.
