Monitoring DB server

Dear SAP Experts,

We have dedicated DB server and CI as environment for SAP ECC 6.0.

Additionally, we also have requirement to monitor the standalone DB server.

Kindly need your help to share the solution for this? Should we user rfcoscol or using sapccms functionality?

Thanks and Regards

    Please check this SAP note

Note 371023 - OS07/ST06: Monitoring operating system data

You need to use SAP CCMS agent , rfcoscol functionality is now integrated into the SAP CCMS agent.

If you're using saphostagent, please also check this note :

1491115 - OS monitors ST06n, OS07n do not display data in CEN system

    Hi Yasen,

You would need CCMS agents installed in standalone DB server. If you have hostagent running on that standalone DB server then you don't need CCMS agents.

The configuration procedure can be found in the following link.

    Hope it answered your query.

    Thanks,
