Enter Valid Printer - Crystal Report

After adding a text box to a Crystal Report in B1, we get the following error when trying to print:

Enter Valid Printer

We are using B1 8.82 PL04 and was edited with the CR that comes with that version. We've edited other reports and don't have this problem. Any ideas?

Alan

The solution is found in Note 1642829

Here is the solution:

This issue happens due to CR design.
This report is designed on "A4" page with "Underlay Following Sections" for "Report Header a" and "Page Header a".
So if you open it with other type other than “A4”, maybe there will be unexpected display.

The workaround for this case is to modify the template of the crystal report.
1 Open the CR-12-AR Down Payment Invoice .rpt file
2 Move the picture in the "Report Header a" section and the "Page Header a" section up
3 Narrow the "Report Header a" section and the "Page Header a" section
4 Import it to SAP Business One

Is there a default printer set in the Crystal Layout in the Print Preferences? Try setting this to No Printer if possible.

Hi Alan..........

Please check the same Crystal Report printing on another Printer. Does it work?

Hi Alan,

Check what is your default printer. Error will come if you are using dot matrix printer or the particular page setup not available in the current default printer.

You may check this link:

Another check, have you tried to print directly from crystal report application ? Is it successful ?
