Hello!
We are configuring VAR-Incident Management wih Solman 7.1 SP5.
All the customers should have access to Solution Manager, log in with their S-users and create messages.
We imported the S-users from SAP Service Marketplace via the report AI_SDK_SP_GENERATE_BP_V2.
After this the S-users can already create messages via SOLMAN_WORKCENTER.
Unfortunately when the same S-users try to create message via SM_CRM (business role: SOLMANREQU),
the reporter filed is emtpy/is not filled automatically and we get the following error:
Details: Partner XXX may not be used in partner function Reported by
Error: Enter Reported by
The assigned roles for key users are:
SAP_SM_CRM_UIU_SOLMANREQU
SAP_SM_CRM_UIU_SOLMANPRO_CREA
SAP_SM_CRM_UIU_FRAMEWORK
SAP_SMWORK_BASIC
SAP_SMWORK_INCIDENT_MAN
SAP_SUPPCF_CREATE
SAP_SUPPDESK_CREATE
SAP_SMWORK_BASIC_INCIDEN
SAP_SUPPDESK_CREATE
SAP_SUPPDESK_CREATE_COMP
Any ideas how to solve this problem?
Hi Alex,
All users using the service desk have to be created as Business Partners in addition to their user name.
You may use transaction BP_GEN or BP_USER_GEN in Solution Manager to create the users as BP in all systems required.

Adi

Hello!
The report AI_SDK_SP_GENERATE_BP_V2 created for the several S-users the users in Solution Manager (SU01) and business partners as well.
These S-users can already create the messages in Solution Manager via SOLMAN_WORKCENTER.
Only the creation of messages via SM_CRM cannot be processed.
Any ideas?
I'm not sure what is the error message you're getting, but try in SPRO -> SAP Solution Manager -> Capabilities (Optional) -> Application Incident Management (Service Desk) -> Transactions -> Define Transaction Types:
make sure that the channel is CRM WebClient UI.
You may also make sure that you have the following entries assigned to your Navigation Bar Profile:
SPRO -> Customer Relationship Management -> UI Framework -> Technical Role Definition -> Define Navigation Bar Profile (Define Generic Outbound Plug Mappings)
Hope that helps,
Adi
