Hi Experts,
We need to block Post Goods Issue in Out Bound Delivery for sale order, for the purpose that the user will have to do overhead calculation to each production order before GR for Production Order and make OBD and Billing. Which object type to be chosen in status profile.
Please confirm.
Thanks.
Regards,
Hello Raj,
So basically, you need to define User Status Profile for Production Order... as you want to restrict GR for Production Order if no overhead calculation is done.
Use object type- PP/PM: order header and put restriction on business transaction- Goods receipt for prodn. order in BS02.
Check & revert.

Thank you very much Anup,
We have made the settings as per your guidance,
Can't we select the object type in BS02 which is from SD functionality, when we select the object from other functionality there is error message saying that object type doesn't match for order type.
our requirement will be to stop the execution of other functionality (e.g: billing) without doing production order goods receipt,
Please guide.
Thanks,
If your business process is make to stock then production order and PGI are independent each other, unlike in MTO scenario where in you have sales order linkage in production order, so, you cannot use BS02 restriction. You may have to go with user exit (V50S0001) in the delivery processing, coming up with logic to implement this, may not be easy.
Dear Raj,
Is this requirement to be met in a Make To stock scenario? If so means, then I do not think any direct
relationship between sales order delivery and the production orders.
In case if this is under Make to order scenario, then the production order will be containing the sales
order number and via this we can control or block billing/delivery.
But however only if GR is done you can proceed with PGI.If your exact requirement is to stop
the functionality from Sales perspective I would suggest you to check with user exits/BADI available
from SD Module.
Can you check and come back with your further queries.
Regards
