Hi Exeperts ,

I'm New in Webi .my requirement is i have a report . in that   Cust, month and  item_Purchase these are the objects. this is my data

EX:

Cust	Month	Items_Purchage
100	1	5
100	2	5
200	1	10
200	2	5
200	3	15
200	4	20

Prompt on CUST. if he want to see particular custmer(ex:cust 100) .

The output is  showing based on that particular customer and their total sum like below

Cust	Month	Items_Purchage
100	1	5
100	2	5
	Sum	10

If user Select CUST 200 The output like this

Cust	Month	Items_Purchage
200	1	10
200	2	5
200	3	15
200	4	20
	sum	50

BUT he want below format.

Cust	Month	Items_Purchage
100	1	5
100	2	5
	Sum	10

if prompt on CUST = 200

Cust	Month	Items_Purchage
200	1	10
200	2	5
200	3	15
200	4	20
	sum	50

Witch means sum should be shown same place. how it is possible please can any help me.

Hi Durga Prasad

1)create a block and rename is as AAA

2)Create a second Block and rename it as BBB,it should be below AAA.Every time the data in AAA increases then Block BBB should shift to Certain centimeters below

3)Right click in blck BBB and select format table-->layout-->relative position(If ur version is BO 4.0 if it is 3.1 then go to properties and see relative position)

u will see

horizontal and vertical

lets consider Horizontal

In first combo Box list u will  see left and right edge and in second list it shows the report tab name  and blocks in report .

Now  lets start , select the Block BBB and goto relative position

1) Horizontal -->In frst combo box select left edge and give 2 centimeters, -->In 2nd combo Box list select Report tab Name(Tab name u given in report )

2) Vertical-->In frst combo box select Bottom edge and give 2 centimeters--> In 2nd combo Box list select Block AAA

Now you will meet the requirement

If user prompts 100 then corresponding values be retrieved ,and u get the summary ,every thing  the solution seems clear ,

ok to my understanding what ever the sum data it shold be displayed at the end of the page right ?

i can give u 3 solutions

1)create a block as it is ,and also create a another block and keep below the first block ,use relative position so  that when ever the data increases then it shift to certain centimeters down.

2) if the first is not helpful then create a template and drop in report footer .Got it !!!

3)Add break on Cust and remove the sum at break footer and u will be able to view grand total. In between break body and grand total, there will be space right!! .Increase the height to meet ur requirement

i Recommend first point will be more familiar  to users.
