We've just started looking at and playing with the new gui. There's a lot to like in it, but we particularly don't like the new comment area... our concern being our users will use it to record their passwords. Is there a way to disable the feature, or grey the icon so the comment area is permanently hidden? I've been looking around but haven't found anything yet.
Many thanks,
Jennifer.
Hello Jennifer,
Glad you like the new GUI.
Your concern is a valid one.
We have not yet an option to disable/make it read-only, just yet,but we are definitely looking
into this as an additional option.
It might not make the next patch, but when patches are released, there is information to show what's
been added/fixed.
Best Regards,
Jude

Hey Jude,
(I know, you must have heard it a gazillion times but I couldn't resist...)
Thanks for the quick response. Yes, a read-only option would be the ideal. It's an excellent way for Admins to communicate to users the purposes of the various systems and clients... including last-refresh-date info. I'll be keen to implement that. I'll be checking the patches.
Thanks again,
Jennifer.
(Now if I can just get that darn song outta my head...)
