Since it is a raw material I recieved 90 peice stock but the PIR qty still remains the same. Am i missing anything? Can someone plz tell me what am I not doing it right?

    Michael,

Strategy 11 is pretty straightforward, there is not much wrong that can happen with it.

You description was a little vague. However, I will assume that when you ran MRP, MRP created a Purchase Req. I will further assume that you converted the Purchase req to a purchase order. Then, I will assume that you received the materials against that purchase order. All of these steps are required to get the requirements reduction you seek.

Assuming all of the above is true, then you should look at the configuration of your strategy 11 to see if it has been altered

OPPT - Strategy group 11 should only contain strategy 11

OPPS - Standard settings for strategy 11 below.

Since you mentioned it's not in-house manufactured goods, If it is defined as trading goods then it will reduce at GR for PO.
