bw/bi system monitoring

after connecting bw/bi system with erp using rsa1 i found the following link regarding bw system monitoring

for a basis consultant is this sufficient to work on a bw system apart from regular tasks like upgrading kernel and others   or is there more tasks involved that a basis consultant needs to perform on a bw/bi system

Hi Sudhakar,

The Basis BW face a lot of different issues than a ECC Basis guy.

For instance in BW it is very important this topic: Workload Analysis, I don't know if this is critical in ECC but certantly it is for BW.

Security is another topic very different for Basis between ECC and BW.

Business Objects is another Tool you should be thinking of because it is the Front End for BW.
