Hi all,
We are on course of upgrading from 4.7 to 6. Our Quality System has been upgraded to ecc 6 and we are testing ecc 6 in quality environment. During testing it is observed that billing document is not getting generated as billing number that is getting created , is already existing in the system. I mean , 'current number' in the billing number range in vno1 is set to some old number . ( Ex : Number range is : 100 to 200 , and the current number is 120 . We are not able to generate billing document as billing document 120 already existing in the system ) . We changed the 'current number' to some other number ( ex : current number : 150 if as per previous example ) and the billing document got generated.
What are the implications of this ( changing the current number manually ) ? . If same issue happens in production , Can we change it manually or what should be done ? Please guide.
Regards,
Mathews
Hi,
We executed the above mentioned Tcodes. I was trying to mention that this isssue was resolved by changing the current number to an incremental value in quality. I would request you all to throw some light on :

Hi ,
It was an Update termination message which is leading to a short dump.

What is the error message you are getting? Can you provide the message number?
