How to vertically position a field ... conditionally?

The Object Size and Position window allows you to conditionally position the horizontal (X-Axis) start of a field.

We want to conditionally position the vertical (Y-axis) of the field, so it always begins printing at a particular point on a portrait report.

Is there any way to do this?

    Hi N,

You can calculate it to be 1440 twips per inch, just a matter of doing the math now. But you'll have be specific for each printer to compensate for the default margins.

CR references the object by the top left corner.

Just like Crystal Reports cannot vertically align a text field, I'm not sure if CR can 'vertically' position a field to the report's canvas (dynamically).

P.S: Here's the closest anybody has ever got with vertically aligning a text field though- !
