Portal URL does not appear in google search

27 Views

Hi All,

Our SAP 7.01 Portal contains custom framework page, including topmenu,left navigation and footer. the complete design is based on javascript.

we are using the following code in our footer.par for google analytics, and the same is working fine.

<script type="text/javascript">

var _gaq = _gaq || [];

_gaq.push(['_setAccount', XXXXXXXXX]);

_gaq.push(['_trackPageview']);

(function() {

var ga = document.createElement('script'); ga.type = 'text/javascript'; ga.async = true;

ga.src = ('https:' == document.location.protocol ? 'https://ssl' : 'http://www') + '.google-analytics.com/ga.js';

var s = document.getElementsByTagName('script')[0]; s.parentNode.insertBefore(ga, s);

})();

</script>

However issue is that our portal URL does not come in google search. If I go to google.com and search for our portal, there are no results.

Please advice on what needs to be configured.

Regards,

Ankur
