Macro in Planning Book

Hi,

I would like to add quantities of next day to current day in the planning book for a given key figure.

e.g. d1 = d1 + d2 where d1 is today.

What is the syntax to get the same.

RS

    Hi RS,

    You might consider to use below macro structure, just assume you period bucket by day

    Macro to run for period 1 to N-1

    Layoutvariable_set(var1;Row in period 1)

    Layoutvariable_set(var2;Row in period 1+1)

    Row in period 1 = Layoutvar_value(var1) + Layoutvar_value(var2)

      Hi RS,

      Yes, "Row in period 1" is referring to the "KF Row in Period 1", when you drag the row element into the macrobuilder, you have option to change its period. For example, the macro is running on period Aug-2012, you can already assess the value in Sep-2012. The syntax will similar to

      LayoutVariable_SET( var1;

      ROW-in-Period 1

      )

      above formula will assign KF from Row in Period 1 into variable var1
