Need information on F.16

Hi

My client is facing issue there is one account for which carry forward is not done at the end of the year and now we are mid of year and could we run f.16 now for particular co.code ?

What would be the impact by running f.16 now.

You can run any number of times, that is not a problem.

Is it retained earnings account? If so, have you selected "Balances in retained earnings account check box" in F.16

Are you on New GL? If so have you executed FAGLGVTR instead of F.16?

Hi,

identify and correct the root cause why this specific account number was not carry forwarded as F.16 does not allow to select particular account numbers..

You can execute F.16 again as the balance carry forward picks the closing balance of each account and brings it to the opening balance field so the missing carry forward will happen, the other balances remain unchanged if they are already carry-forwarded with their prior-year balance.

Use the test-run to check the CF balances.
