dyanamic safety stock

Dear All ,

Pl guide :

Can we use dynamic safety stock concept ( range of coverage profile ) with material having MRP type = VB ( manual reorder level ) .

Logically it should not work as Dynamic safety stock is dependent on requirements to calculate the avg. daily requirement ( ADR ) for safety stock calculation .

pl correct me if i have understood it wrongly .

Yes you are right  dynamic safety stock calculation will not be work along with manual reorder point as range of coverage profile is not considered.

Yes, I believe, it should not work as dynamic safety stock calculation works on Avg Daily Requirements and Range Of Coverage Profile.
