Data Services Installation Issue - SIA restart can not work

Hi Experts,

I installed the SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0 (BI Platform) SP4 and the Client too.

Now I want to install the SAP BusinessObjects Data Services 4.0 SP3. During the install steps I got a message about the SIA restart. I choose yes to restart SIA but unfortunately nothing happened. The Input File Repository is enabled and running.

Where can I find some logs about this issue, or what would be the problem.

Yes, You are right. I had the same issue. I couldn't find this thread. Sorry.

Here is the correction if somebody faced this issue agaim:

The DS SP3 installer goes into a loop when initiating the install from a UNC share. You must use a mapped drive letter or copy the installer local to the server.
