Hierarchy Change in ECC is not captured in BI while loading and executing query.

Hi BI Techies..

I am loading FI Statement hierarchy to BW from ECC Using 0GLACCEXT_T011_HIER DataSource. I am getting Hierarchy on BI and able to activate it. But when Hierarchy is changing in ECC Side, I mean when they are changing nodes in ECC,  It is not captured in BI and will not displayed in BI. Report.So what I am doing now is manualy edit Hierarchy in BI and add respective node change to BI.

Why Changes are not automaticaly captured in BI for HIerarchy Change.?? Could any1 please help me on this..

Hi All,

Thanks for the replies but what is happening is Hierarchy nodes are changing in ECC according to +/- ve Signs. I am not able to map those things in BI. I didnt find any fields in Datasource for the same. Any body know how to map Link ID Flag and -/+ Sign Flag to 0GLACCEXT_T011_HIER DataSource and to Transfer Rule.

In the data source segment for Hierarchy nodes, are you able to see the field RSIGN (Chg of sign)? This should be mapped to the SIGNCH field of Hierarchy node segment in transfer rules.

These signs are visible only when the 'Reverse +/- sign for nodes' check box is checked in the properties of info object 0GLACCEXT, hierarchy tab.

Hi,

You need to check the Infopacakge and there is option to refresh the OLTP hierarchy to it will bring all the hierarchy and show it as a radio button in the Infopackage..

so you have to select the correct radio button as per hierarchy load from ECC..

once u select that you will be in the position to refresh the hierarchy in BW..FROM ECC.

U need to schedule the data load regularly..

if it is not happening check the datasource in ECC ,run RSA3 and see whether values are refreshed correctly or not and reflecting correctly there..

Hi,

  If you do a full load of the hierarchy after the change in hierarchy data in ECC then you should get the latest version of hierarchy in BW. If the extractor is not picking the changes then you can better raise a OSS message to SAP.

Hi,

Whenever any change in ECC Hierarchies , we have to upload in BW. In BW Check the time stamp of Hierarchy uploaded. 

If change hierarchy active & working fine then after extracting in BE  it must work . It just like simple data loading.
