UWL issue in from name

Hi all,

i have configured uwl in portal.iam able to approve standard workflow(mm purchase requisition),here our senerio is A will create purchase requisition it will go to B uwl inbox in portal,then after approval of B to should be go C uwl inbox,the problem is in C uwl inbox in from tab it displaying sender name A(means it is coming from A)actually it should show sender name B(not A) in C's inbox.

our currrent is

A--------------->B

A--------------->C

Actual requirement is

A-------------->B

B------------->C

this issue is in sender name in c's uwl inbox.it is fine in sap inbox.please suggest

    Hi Moin,

    From UWL point of view its correct , As request is initiated by A so all the Attribute inside

    "Root container" of WF will have details for A only. You can verify this by going to WorkFlow container where the Root -> Attributes will be Pointing to A only and In UWL we access only root attributes

    not inner node attributes so its displaying A only.

    To overcome this i feel you will have to modify the workflow and you need to define new mapping

    with last sender not with first sender. In this WF team can help you.

    But in this case it may create confusion at some other point so it will be better that add one new

    attribute directly inside root container of WF and define mapping with last sender which you can find

    somewhere in inner nodes of workflow and finally add this new attribute in UWL XML file.
