DTW, strings get uploaded with " " on both sides ?

Dear All

While uploading data with DTW.

Item Description, Business Partner Address, City, PO Box / Street, many of data gets uploaded fine.

In certain cases " " is added on both sides. I have checked the file thoroughly, even same information exists

one is without " " and one is with " ".

What is causing this issue ? and how to resolve it ?

Hi Omar,

You can avoid the " " in the template by removing the "". The steps are to open the delimited text dtw template file --> press Ctrl+H --> fill the "" in the find and then click replace all buttons.

In some cases, the "" is caused by coma in the data you have input in the excel dtw template file

Hi Omar,

You can also use the trim() in excel remove the both side space.
