Document Splitting Re-activation

We had SAP go-live in April -2012 . We have activated document splitting at that time.

Around 2 or 3 weeks after go live, one consultant de-activate doc splitting because at that time we bumped to an error msg when we try to do bank reconciliation. I can not remember exactly the message but it was mentioned something about doc type SA can not split or something.

So, he deactivate doc splitting. He supposed to re-activate doc splitting immediately after the problem solved

Turned out, we just realized it.

So Now my question is : If we activate document spliiting again, so what will be the effect on closing operations. Because some document might posted in system when document splitting was inactive in system.

Kindly help me to solve this problem.

Thanks in Advance.

Ritesh

HI Ritesh,

Once you activated the document splitting in your server and you are not suppose to deactive  Doc splitting. as you  message SA Doc type is not splitting means, SA doc type is not having the correct configuration of Transaction vairant.

If Doc splitting is active in your server then table like FAGL_SPLINFO an FAGL_SPLINFO_VAL having split data, If doc split is not active then above table will not have data then while clearing it is will

create dumps. It is called inconsistency.
