BI launch pad web application structure

Hi

I am new to BO4. I want to customize BI launch pad application i.e. I want to add a button in "Web Intelligence" report's navigation bar (where Drill, Filter, Outline buttons are visible).

I have few questions -

1) Can I find any guide or article to understand the structure of BI launch pad application i.e. how different web applications are inter-related? To be more precise, looking for flow which depicts how webpath.infoview calls other webpath.* applications?

2) How these webpath.* applications relate to BI launch pad front end i.e. is webpath.analyticalreporting code for "Web Intelligence" section on front end?

3) How to deploy JSP code changes in this new environment?

Any help will be highly appreciated.

Thanks!

SAP does not support customizing any out of box applications and this information is internal to product and not available publicly. With webi extension points SDK ( supported only for OEM\partners) you can do webi editor customization to an extent. But it is not available in BI 4.0 as of now.
