Reference document Item not updated in COPA for record type D

Hello all,

We are using cost center assessment to COPA. These transactions in COPA are created with record type D. In CE1XXXX table the reference document item (RPOSN) is not populated for these documents.

Is there a way to force this item number to be populated into the field in CE1 table ?

you are posting the cost center balance to CO-PA using KEU5.

This CC balance is caused regularily by a large number of cost center related postings but creates (depending on your KEU5 settings) only one/a few CO-documents.

Thats why there is no 1:1 relation between the docs. causing the CC balance and the KEU5 docs thus the reference is not unique and therefore not available in CE1**** record type "D".

    • Hello Christian,

      Thank you for your explanation.

I also thought that must be the reason but was wondering, since CO document has line numbers is there a way those line numbers can be captured. As of now the line numbers of the CO document and line numbers in COPA document do not correspond.
