Content repository- same settings, different behaviour

Hi, we are running an ECC 6 system. We have configured a Z content repository and have transported across QA and Prod systems with following attributes:

Doc. Area: Archivelink

Storage type: SAP System Database

Rep. Sub-type:Normal

Protocol: CSTORE

Version no. 0046

Content table : Z<table>

Transfer drctry: /docs/apps

Phys.path : /docs/apps

We are facing an issue: using the above Z content repository, when we attach a document in QA or Prod system, it creates a file at OS level in /docs/apps folder. Whereas, it doesn't create a file at OS level in Dev system which is correct since the Storage type is defined as SAP System Database. It should store the document in the Z<table>. Can somebody provide any helpful insight what the issue could be?

Thanks
Nirmal

Hi Nirmal,

these directories are used when you store documents asynchronously, or retrieve them. You said that files don't created here. But are they stored successfully in the db tables?

Best Regards,

Janos
