ALV toolbar directly below the title bar in a container ALV

Dear Experts,

When we use REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY, the ALV toolbar is directly below the program title bar as shown in the figure 1 below.

But when we use container ALV, there is always a gap as shown in the figure below. Can you please explain me the reason for this. Also is it possible to have the toolbar directly below the title bar in a container ALV also ?

I will really appreciate your help in finding a solution to this problem.

Best Regards,

Sakshi Dogra

    Hi Sakshi,

I don't know how to remove it but it is sure that, it is the place to have application toolbar buttons.

    With regards,

    Hi Sakshi,

The reason for that gap is that the ALV toolbar shown in the 2nd image belongs specifically to that Grid. For instance if you have two grids then each grid will need specific controls(toolbar),also in that Gap we can have Push buttons(or other functions eg.Exporting the entire page with both the Grids as shown below). No,it is not possible to have the toolbar directly below the title bar in a container ALV(as far as I know).
