Cloud Connector hangs - Connecting State

Former Member

Hi,

I am working on an application which fetches data from SAP backend through cloud connector. It was working fine but after machine restart, Cloud Connector state is "Connecting" and it's not changing to Connected or Disconnected. I checked the logs in Monitor but could not find anything helpful. Any pointers are appreciated.

Akhil

Hi Akhil,

could you please try to change the Audit Log level. It is located under the Monitor tab -> Audit-> Audit Settings -> Audit Level drop down.

Hi Nace,

Thanks for reply. For some reason, I am unable to change audit settings, not even date and time range. Once I change it and then refresh the page, it jumps pack to default settings. Is there any other file where we can set the Audit levels.

Hi Nace,

After looking into logs and trace files -

usr/local/vl/slot-0/log/debug/flow/vl_debug

/opt/sap/scc/log/ljs_trace.log

I could see few exceptions - vl_debug

jls_trace.log

Not sure why it's trying to connect to 127.0.0.2. Let me know if I can email you logs/trace files

Thanks for helping me out.

I would be interested in further details and root cause of the issues. Were there some network issues on your side or were there problems with the connectivity service?

Hi Herald,

Apparently it was a issue with the connectivity service. Configurations were not properly reflected in SCC. As suggested by Nace, restarting tunnel using curl command refreshed/reapplied configurations and state changed to connected.

Hi Akhil,

Can you share to curl command? I had the same problem, but i reinstalled the SCC, which also worked fine. But restarting the tunnel is a faster solution i see.

Thanks,

Hi Leo,

I'd rather prefer this command to stay internal as it is, because in the next version of SCC this functionality will be available in the UI as single button.

If you have issues don't hesitate to contact me.
