Parameters in BPC 10

Hi Guru's,

Can any one help me how to maintain the Environment & Model Parameters in Bpc 10.

What are the required parameters Consolidation.

Hi Srinivasan,

There are three Parameters in BPC 10.0 NW which needs to be maintained they are:

Functional Parameters - Maintained in Web Admin UI

Configuration Parameters - Maintained in BW IMG t.code SIMGH

In IMG you can see three Parameters namely Global (Cross Environment), Environment level and Model level

System Parameters - Maintained through Admin UI

Hi Raghu,

Thanks for the valuble reply. I am having some little bit confusion on Parameters.

a) In BPC 7.5 system we will create the Application and we will maintain the Parameters as per our

Requierment. But in BPC 10 by default i got the Cosnolidation Application and Ownership Application.

b) In BPC 10 i didn't find Interface for the web option.

c) I went to through SIMGH but there i am not getting any parameters. There i have

      1) Set Global Parameters

      2) Set Environment Parameters

      3) Set Model Parameters.

I executed all but there is nothing.

Can you please help me what are the necessary parameters for the Bpc  Cosnolidation Application.

How to maintain those in system.

I know the parameters in 7.5 is both are same.

Please help me on this.

Hi Srinivasan,

Here are the answers.

a) When you install BPC 10 in your environment, you will get Consolidation, Ownership, Planning and Rate models as default one. There is a provision to create a new model from scratch as per your requirement.

b) BPC 10 itself works on web interface with Adobe flash player and flex client inbuilt in the system.

Hence, there is no option as such interface for Web.

c) SIMGH trasaction exclusively deals with configuration of BPC 10 in NW, you can set up ICF and HTTP services parameters here in SPRO.

I am confused with your question, "Can you please help me what are the necessary parameters for the Bpc  Cosnolidation Application."

Parameters as in contents to carry out legal consolidation or you want something else.
