Transfer data from a table in BI to an infocube.

Dear All,

We have a requirement wherein an ABAP program does some calculations to our data and transfers it to a table.

From this table, we need to transfer the data to our infocube, which is already created in our BI system.

Can we use DBConnect for our requirement?

Is there any other way we can achieve this?

Please guide me.

Hi,

Create a generic data source in BI system itself using RSO2. and then follow the standard extraction procedure to load data into cube.

Hi Prerna,

You want to create datasource based on a table which is in BW system itself. So you can go with self-Extraction concept.

Create datasource in BW itself, replicate is and use it. e.g. your BW system is B and source system is A. You generally create datasource in A and then replicate in B and then load data in B from A.

Replace A by B in above example. use same t-codes

For this, why don't you take the data into a flat file instead of a table and load from flat file to Info cube.
